This ability was intentionally removed from mobile due to the limitations of many mobile devices and unintended consequences that users encountered as a result. It is still possible to do, however it must be done via the desktop application.
@Aaron Hamilton Thank you for the tip. Is there any benefit or risk of downloading all of them? My phone has an SD card that can store them, but wondering if there is any purpose.
This depends on the size of your library and how much you would benefit from having the books available on your phone. If you try to pack a large library onto a budget phone, you may run into trouble.

For highlighting, can you please instead of predefined colors add a color picker that allows us to choose any color we want. I often prefer highlights much lighter than the options you provide. I like subtle highlighting and I would love the ability to do that.
One of the key functions for any reader is the ability to easily flip pages. On the mobile devices this is done through assigning the function to volume buttons.
