Creating a new song, lyric attachement issue

I'm creating a new song for the first time. I've added in all the song details, Title, author etc…, then saved it to my library. I've typed in the lyrics how do I connect a set of lyrics to a specific verse 1, verse 2, etc…? If I uncheck the box next to where I can add Title, screen and all that my lyrics will show, but if I check it all I get is the title to show. The verses show red text like there is an error because I can't figure out how to tie text to a specific verse. Help me please :)

I hope this is what you mean. To assign a label to a lyric section, put the label just before the section in the lyrics box. For example, this text in the lyrics box defines verse 1, verse 2, and chorus 1.

Verse 1
lyric line 1
lyric line 2
lyric line 3
lyric line 4

Verse 2
put lyrics for verse 2 here
as many lines as needed

leave a blank line where you want
to start a new screen

for the current verse
or chorus

Chorus 1
And now the lyrics
for chorus 1

using the same format
as before

Confidence Monitor
