I am using Windows 11, and recently, Libronix stopped working on my PC.
I got the link from your posts, yet the system is not recognizing the books from the resources.
It shows "Unlock this resource". Please guide me on what to do.
When given for update, it shows Error code 17
In the Tools Library Management is not found…
Libronix has been shutdown for 7 years, so I am not sure why you are just not having problems. But you should be able to get all of your books in the new version of Logos. This should help you: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/146796.aspx
If you search the forums, some, with varying levels of success, have maintained working copies of Libronix 3.0; however, it is not supported, and I speculate that it will become increasingly difficult as time goes on. Some have discovered ways to extend the window of possibility by running a virtual machine with an older version of Windows.
Someone who has been able to keep it going might chime in with some ideas on how to fix your problem, but there are fewer and fewer people around who are attempting this.
You might have to consider upgrading the software engine at this point, but I would say, 'hats off to you' and the software, that it has been valuable and long-lasting. Excellent return on investment!
My advice, is the criticality of the Libronix license file backup. It's in a directory on your PC. If you have that, Customer Service can get you in business in a jiffy (with the current free software version).
Greetings, I'm having the same trouble with Libronix on Windows 11. I do have the Libronix license file backup on my PC. Am I really able to move my NAS Electronic Bible Library - which I purchased in October 1999 - to the current free version of LOGOS? If so, what do I need to do.
Many thanks!
Yes, you should be able to.
If those purchases are already connected to an email address and account with Logos, it should be as easy as installing the newest version and logging in with your account (try first on the web app: app.logos.com .
If there was never an online account, but you have a serial number, try entering it here:
Redeem your product code | Logos Bible Software
If you don't have either, contact customer service.
Greetings Bernhard,
Logging in gave me a few books but not the whole of my NAS Electronic Bible Library.
I tried entering in the Serial Number - failed. Activation Code - failed. Confirmation Code - failed.
My Customer ID is my email address, but I don't know that I had an actual account at the time.
Thank you for replying.
It's sometimes possible to tell Windows 10/11 to run selected software in compatibility mode. I can't say whether that will help or not.
I did try compatibility mode, but was unsuccessful. I haven't spoken with Customer Service yet, I may have to go that route.
Yes, please do. They won't help you with installing Libronix, but they might be able to combine the old account/licenses with your new account.
