What is a 'Deprecated' Version of BHS
This post (and specifically the replies from Vincent Setterholm should answer the question:
why is my Logos Software now called "Legacy"? Is this like microsoft and it's annoying pattern of no longer supporting versions of its OS till they force you to buy a new one?
This is not at all like that. Your software will continue to be updated. This is just an indicator that you have previously purchased a base package containing feature licenses (and retain access to those features), but do not currently have an active subscription. That means you don't have access to the more recently developed features.
I have not definite knowledge but I assume the software is now called "Legacy" because you either did not buy the current base package and/or the subscription for new features and AI features. For example if you are still at Logos 10 feature level.
Regarding the BHS, there has been two BHS versions - one old and with mistakes/bugs and one without. They labeled the old buggy one (Deprecated) and removed this one from the library but for me it is still shown in the new insights section "Textual History"
(Deprecated)
thanks.
i have BHS in the SESB collection which, i imagine, is quite old by internet standards. i got it when they used to mail out DVDs………
Yes, then you surely have this resource. They renamed it to make it clear that this is the old one. And I was wrong, it isn't removed from the library, I only had the resource hidden and therefore couldn't open it.
The spell check function still does not work in my Sermon documents. I am running Logos Pro 45.1.2. It seems like it has been fixed for others, why is it still not working for me? Thank-you.
I'm working on a Bible translation. It's stored in USFM format (Paratext). What's the simplest way to get that into Logos as a personal book? As far as I can see, Logos only accepts .docx files.
Typically as I read and reread a passage and take notes , the notes are in disarray. Is there a way to rearrange the notes in an order that will reflect the order that I want to present them to my class? Thanks, Tom
I just downloaded a bunch of translations in different languages. However, for 90% of them, it is basically impossible to know what I own since the language is listed so oddly. Really all the Bibles were like this, but as an example, the NT in the language "Borna" is categorized by Logos as the language "bwo" on the…
I have an Windows 10, i7-6700 @ 3.4Ghz with 32 GB RAM, and Logos installed on an SSD (ver 45.1.2). I have 250 Mbps download and 36 Mbps upload internet performance. Yet I'm having significant Logos latency. Sometimes the app just hangs. I notice it when I'm typing in Sermon Editor and the words are noticeably slower than…
