Retag Daily Doctrine

I have been enjoying using Daily Doctrine: A One-Year Guide to Systematic Theology as a daily calendar devotional on the start page of Logos, the same as I would use, for example, My Utmost for His Highest. Recently, it was retagged by Logos, and it is now just a devotional but not a calendar devotional. Thus, I can no longer access it from the start page like other devotionals—it's not on the list of devotionals.

It has an article for every day of the year, so could it be retagged as a calendar devotional for those of us who want to use it that way?

Hi Tim, the book only has entries for 260 dys (5 days per 52 weeks), the day-of-year index is wrongly set up without the free weekend days. Thus it ran out in early September, that's the reason why it curently can't be used on the start page / dashboard.

@Tim Wells Right now, the Reading Plan document does not automatically take books organized by numbered days ("Day 1", "Day 2", etc.) and convert them to something similar to the reading plans available for calendar devotionals. It can only be done painstakingly by the user by using options like the Custom Reading Plan.

The solution is not to tag this individual book in a particular way. The solution would be an improved Reading plan document that is specifically designed to automate this kind of conversion.

I encourage you to make a post in our Suggestions forum requesting this new functionality. Such a suggestion might gather quite a few upvotes.

@Joe McCune, thank you. NB.Mick actually answered the query in that there are only 260 days in the book; hence, it has finished. It was my oversight, not seeing that it was not a full 365 days.

I could try making a reading plan out of it for Mon-Fri perhaps, but we'll see.
