Delay in displaying the Dashboard

When I first start Logos I load the startup screen by default. When I press the button for the dashboard for the first time, the background changes slightly but the dashboard does not display. Pressing the button again returns to the blank layout. Pressing the button yet again then correctly displays the Dashboard.

After this first "delay" in showing the dashboard, pressing the button again later works correctly.

So what is your Startup option in Tools > Program Settings?

If it is Blank layout why not make it Dashboard?

A few reasons:

I don’t want to load the dashboard every time I start the app. Otherwise I would set the startup option accordingly
The software is not working as it used to - but I don’t recall seeing any notice of the change
It is clearly attempting to load the dashboard (on pressing the button the first time) since the background changes but nothing is displayed. Surely this is a bug.

It’s only a question of a few extra keystrokes but it goes against muscle-memory. So not a big deal, just a minor irritant.

My setup default is also Blank Layout and I am observing the same behavior @Kevin Todhunter is observing. This change in behavior if fairly recent but sometime during version 44 (before V45 was released). Mostly annoying but easily dealt with via an extra click of the dashboard icon. ;)
