Will MP3 continue across multiple slides ONLY if "Start Playing Automatically" is selected?

I am new to Proclaim. I have a MP3 file I am needing to attach to a service item for special music. The MP3 file is for special music while the offering is being taken. I successfully uploaded the MP3 file to that service item. I unchecked the box "Start Playing Automatically" because the title slide for the song will be put up during the prayer and I don't want the song to fire off until the prayer is over. I hit the "play" button and the song starts playing properly. But when I advance to the next slide, the MP3 stops playing. The only way the MP3 will keep playing across several slides is if the "Start Playing Automatically" is selected. Is this by design?

hmm, that sounds like a bug! Cause you are doing exactly what we designed it for.
