Is a Logos discount email from "Logos via SafeOpt" spam, or legitimate?

I got an email that screams "delete me", but before I do, I thought I would ask if anybody knows whether this is legitimate, or junk/spam/phishing? The email is from "Logos via SafeOpt," and claims that "SafeOpt does not sell any advertised products or services, so any questions about the content herein should be directed to Logos. SafeOpt may receive compensation when you click a link in this email or purchase."

It is legitimate. I believe the coupon code gives you 10% off. One time use.

I also thought it was a scam when I got it, months ago, but it was legit.

There are several ways to check.

SafeOpt is a platform that gather information of possible promotions or discounts - Marketing, advertisements. I think one may need to sign up or your email was exposed to SafeOpt.
For validation - right click on the link and copy link, then paste it on a notepad to view the full link, if it goes to www.logos.com, usually it's legit but nonetheless also marketing.

Safest but probably missing some exclusive deals would be direct marketing emails from Logos, or browse www.logos.com > Deals. There's a bunch on the main page of website too.

Exclusive deals = sometimes Logos affiliate with other institutions where they have promo codes to get discounts.

In SafeOpt or any marketing platform, it is dependent on their algorithm / programming rules how they filter or gather from the internet which largely depends on their agreements with either Logos or other vendors.

How these companies stay alive? Compensation from the clients (Logos if they advertised there) based on impressions (clicks, purchases, views) from users (you in this case).

Thanks, DMM and Michelle! Given this ad went to my Gmail address, and that's not the address under which I'm subscribed to Logos, and also given I'm not in the market for any additional resources at the moment, I think I will just delete this one. I appreciate the information about this!
