Moving install from one drive to another

I need to move my Logos installation from my C: drive to D:. I know I can uninstall and reinstall it, but is there an easier way?

I did this yesterday and everything seems to be working fine. Assuming you are on Windows:

Go to D and create a directory D:/Logos. Make sure Logos is closed and the indexer is not running in the background. I don't know what would happen if you tried to do this with Logos running.

Then, go to the command prompt in admin mode (cmd, right-click "run as administrator" - don't use PowerShell, it doesn't handle %LocalAppData% or mklink), and type

robocopy "%LocalAppData%\Logos" "D:\Logos" /sec /move /e

That will move all of your Logos files to the D drive. It will take a while. Then, in command prompt

mklink "%LocalAppData%\Logos" "D:\Logos" /j

That will create a link so any shortcuts or references to the C drive will now automatically redirect to D.
Start up Logos as normal. For me, it seemed like it took a little longer on the first startup, then it ran normally.

Without creating links, which can be fragile, use this Method:

Rename your Logos folder on C: drive →C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Logos.
Uninstall Logos —> this will delete most of the Logos folder if it is not renamed.
Reinstall Logos but select a Custom installation and uncheck “Automatically Download Updates”
Change the installation folder to D:\
When the installation has finished, immediately exit the Sign-in window
- if necessary, kill Logos in Task Manager.
If they exist delete the following folders from the new installation and replace them from your renamed Logos folder:

\Logos\Data
\Logos\Documents
\Logos\Users
these are the only folders that you need to copy

7. Start Logos and sign-in —> all done without downloading and re-indexing.
