This replaces our in-house payment plans for most new purchases.* Why the change? Moving to a trusted specialist like Klarna allows our team to funnel the effort it takes to run our own payment plans toward what we do best—making Logos even better for you.

If you have an existing payment plan with us, nothing changes. Your current plan will remain with Logos as is.

You guys should open up an exception for those who do not qualify for a Klarna payment plan for what ever reason, if proof can be shown of decline. I know I had bad credit from past mistakes, but was able to purchase about $7,000 worth of resources through Logos payment plans over the years. Cant do much about my past credit until it rebuilds, but I was still able to work with Logos.

I'm a little bummed by this, mostly because I would not want to pay interest if I cannot pay for a large package in 4 months. This was one of the key features that made large packages more affordable through Logos. Other than the processing fee per month, it was the cost of the package stretched over the months with no additional interest. I clicked through and Klarna is saying that I would have to pay 13.99% interest. That's a lot of interest!

Are Logos Payment plans through the phone available to people in the US? Is anything over $100 available through Logos payment plans if purchased over the phone or through email? Are Logos payment plans the same as they have been (small processing fee per month)?

What's wild is, if you wanted to pay for a package in less time than the interest-free 4 month option, there is a 3 month option. BUT, it's also at the 13.99% interest rate! So you pay more for the product because of the 13.99% interest, but you pay it off quicker!

I understand needing to use less resources to keep track of payments and not having an internal teams ensuring people pay them off and are not behind on payments, but I'm not sure about this as the solution.

Truly I do not want to sound ungrateful for Logos and the people who make it and who make these kinds of decisions. It is a gift from God that we get this incredible tool to study God's word. I'm so grateful to the Lord for this company through and through.

I'm just perplexed about this move.

IMO ~~six~~ eight weeks is no better than pay it all now. I'd say Klarna is a great way to lure people into interest payments, which undoubtedly is their business model.

I don't know how much Logos is financing and for how many people. Perhaps few users take advantage of the existing plan. However, I imagine there must be quite a few users who've purchased a larger package only because they could spread the purchase over 6-10 months or so.

I know Logos has to shed some of their business and economize, but this seems like it might cost them business and appears to be anti-user.

Personally, I am not a fan of this change. I think the system you had in place already allowed people to get large packages for a reasonable monthly amount and a small processing fee.

If you need to change, why not use PayPal? At least they offer a similar pay-in-four-over-eight-week plan and a six-month option with no interest.

I am also not a fan of this change. I am not sure how this is an advantage to the customer. I had bought several packages over the last few years and spread them over several months. I will not buy as much if I have to pay 13.99% interest. I did not mind paying the small processing fee.

I’ve invested what I consider a significant amount of money in Logos, and I’m grateful to the company for existing and for the work they do. I was able to afford these purchases thanks to the interest-free payment plan. Under the current terms that Logos is offering, I wouldn’t have been able to do that. I don’t know what led Logos to make this decision, but I believe sales will drop, especially for expensive collections. This decision isn’t in the best interest of customers.

I also don't think it's in the best interest of Logos either, as I believe they will lose a lot of big sales.
I for one will never use Klarna, so big purchases are off my grid.

I'm glad, I'm in Europe now. Didn't always think this way… But more and more.

I'm not shure if this move will really help Logos and it's users. I mostly agree with my previous posters.
Payment plans made it possible for me to buy quit a big library. I am so grateful and excited about it.
I doubt that this would have happened with Klarna.

Based on how Klarna operates, the advantage is that Logos gets paid in full up front so it benefits them more than the customer. Klarma can charge as much as 33.99% interest.

I was only ever able to make my first move into Logos with the flexible payment plans they offered in-house. If I'm paying 13.99% for big purchases then I'm not making big purchases anymore.
