How would I share a layout that I created with another Logos user?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. It has been a frequently requested feature but it is my understanding that there are some technical challenges to making it happen.
Welcome Jill,
Given the above, a screenshot would be the best way.
Ok, thank you, sadly the people I am working with are not proficient in using Logos so I will have to just set up on each of their laptops for them. Thanks!
@Jill Riepe Please forgive my intrusion, but for what little it may be worth: a little bit like the old line about giving someone a fish vs. teaching them how to fish, helping them set up their own workspace might help them a LOT more than just setting it up for them . You could do a Zoom chat or something, and show them your desktop as you go step by step and they could watch you do it, and even do it themselves as you're showing them. Or even just an ordered list of steps for them to follow without the video. Or maybe a series of screen captures showing each step, or something else. Setting up a useful workspace is such an easy and very basic, very useful ability in Logos that it would be great for them to learn how to do it themselves.
Unfortunately, @Theophan Dort, this group isn't quite to that level. They are barely computer literate so I designed a simple layout to help them get used to using Logos. I'm hoping that in the next year some may be able to progress to that level.
Hello, I am curious why the resource count on my Desktop app and the Web app is different. I checked my library on my desktop, and all the resources seemed to have been downloaded. However, the Web App is showing a higher number. Do you have any ideas?
I was a previous owner of Verbum 10 and now am a pro subscriber. It feels like there is a lot missing from my library. I just searched for Jesus of Nazareth by Ratzinger and it did not appear in my library. But when I search in the store, it is in the Verbum 5 legacy library which I should own from my prior prior purchase.…
How can AI be used to search our own libraries in more detail?
When I enter the question Why does James think prayer is for all Christians? the Study Assistant advises me that the search was constrained to sources authored by James - even though this doesn't seem to be the case. This doesn't seem quite right - is there some refinement needed to how its algorithms are working? As far…
