Is there a way to automatically generate lower thirds from the sermon slides?

I'm relatively new to using Proclaim - is there a way to speed up the process of creating lower thirds for our Youtube broadcast?

Right now, we manually have to take the sermon slide -open the mirror lower thirds tab, remove background and foreground, take a snapshot of the sermon slide, paste it into the now blank lower thirds screen, resize it appropriately, and drag and drop to the lower right corner of the screen - so that the slide shows to viewers in the bottom right while the pastor is visible.

It's a slow process - is there a way to automate this process or reduce the steps? Thanks in advance for your help.

On the mirror slide, go to the templates, type "lower thirds" into the search bar, pick one you like, and click "apply as smart media." You can ctrl+click all of your slides of the same type to apply the change at once.

Jim, it sounds like you actually want Picture-in-picture? If so, yes there is a new Picture in picture setting, instead of mirror, select PIP and then it will become a slide on the canvas.

It's a brand new feature, and there is one issue with multi-select. The fix for that is coming real soon.

For true lower thirds, where the slide is reformatted to take up the bottom third of the screen, you can do as Justin says. You can also go set a lower third Smart media as the default for that screen and your item type in Settings > Default media

Jordan, THANK YOU - the PIP selection from the pull down in the Lower Thirds tab did the trick automatically for this weeks's multi-slide call to worship! Appreciate the help!!!

Jordan- with regard to Lower thirds for music slides. Does the default media setting include different settings for a title page as well as a lyric page?
