Just released - but a number of metadata problems?

I just received the new resource "Matthew: The Christian Standard Commentary" by Holman. But compared to the rest of the series (10 of them so far):

this book has series "The Christian Standard Commentary", the other 10 are all "Christian Standard Commentary";
this book is type Commentary, the other 10 are type Bible Commentary;
publisher is 'Holman Reference', the other 10 are type 'Holman";
the subjects field is empty/blank, others all have entires like 'Bible. O.T. Esther-Commentaries.;

I did notice it's an ebook not a Research Edition, which to be honest I did not realize when I bought it. I am disappointed that a commentary is not in research edition format.

Shouldn't this metadata be corrected, or is metadata not maintained/entered properly when it's an ebook? @Mitch Snyder (Faithlife) are you able to advise on this issue?

The inconsistent metadata for commentary series has been a problem for Logos forever. It's been brought to their attention over and over, yet after all these years they still seem to not have a person whose job it is to make sure that ANY new volume in ANY series maintains consisted metadata so that they are grouped together and work properly as a series in library and priorizing and all the aspects of Logos.

It's in the catalogue twice, one ebook and one Logos edition. I suspect the ebook should never have been published.

@Kyle G. Anderson @Mitch Snyder (Faithlife) can you help with these issues? This is the second research edition shipped as an ebook, plus the metadata issues. What can we expect as to a resolution?

And for me, it says I own the one, and I will be charged an additional $20 for the research edition?

Hi @Don Awalt , thanks for posting. The ebook should not have been posted. We are continuing to make adjustments to our internal tooling that has allowed for continued improvements in our overall production output this year. However, the trade off has been there have been instances such as this where duplicate resources are posted. We continue to use each instance where these issues are flagged to improve.
