Drag and Paste into Word with citations

Why is it that when I copy and paste articles from L4 into Word the citation is inserted as a footnote, but when I drag the same content from L4 into Word it does not insert the citation as a footnote? It should would be nice to use the mouse to drag and drop content without having to hit cntrl copy then tab to Word and paste each time.
L3 had no problem dragging and dropping selections from articles as I've described...

I've now switched over to a Mac and am using office 2011 as well. Still think it would be wonderful to drag and paste from any content into Word 2011. L4 gives me a circle with a slash through it to tell me it isn't going to happen.
Just discovered the "services" features of pasting test into word. NICE! That is a feature I loved in L3, and now will highly enjoy in L4 since that was the way I was used to inserting Scripture into Word.
Blessings,
Stan
