One of the features I have been disappointed not being available in Logos is a verse of the day widget. So I found a way to create my own. I created an album in Photos called "Bible." As I read during my devotional times, I have the "media on this passage" selected so I can see slides that have been produced by Logos on corresponding verses. I will take a look at the slide, and if I like it, I will save it to my desktop, then drag it into the "Bible Album." ( I export to .png, widescreen.) Once I collected a number of these, I went into widgets and selected the photo widget that allowed me to choose which photo album to display. Once placed on the desktop, the widget rotates through the slides in the album. If you do this make sure you use the largest widget. Here's a screenshot.
