Crash on Passage Guide or Exegetical Guide
Today, everytime I open L4 B3 and close the Home page and attempt anything else the program crashes.
I put PG and EG in the Subject line because I had not seen them mentioned. Here is what I have done:
1. Opened L4 which opens (after having to sign in) after a wait and the Home Page opens. Browsed through the offerings and closed HP.
2. Clicked on Passage Guide (1 time) Exegetical Guide (next time) and both times got the crash box.
3. Forgot to say that I also selected a Layout and that crashed.
So far I have not been able to work in the program at all.
Also, Indexing has been going on most of the day (about 8 hours). In fact once it had gotten down to below 1,000 resources, then checked later and the number was back up over 1,600. Not sure why.
I'm really looking forward to the time I can log in and spend several hours working.

Edit: Sir it seems as though you have an old beta! Do you see the blue logos icon in your task bar? Right-click on it and select install update. Yea the log says you are running pre beta2. So some issues are already fixed.

Not sure about what the log shows, but I did check Help > About and it said I was running B3. I had clicked on the icon and selected Install. Also, a couple of times when I tried to open the program I had a box that asked me to Install Updates and I clicked Yes each time.
Anyway, the icon just now left my task bar and the Indexer no longer shows in Task Manager. So I will now attempt to open and see what happens. Let you know later.

Well, I tried again,
opened L4
Closed Home Page
Clicked on Layout and chose the one I wantedCRASH
O.K. I opened L4 again (did NOT close Home Page)
typed a scripture passage in the Go box
Clicked on GoCRASH
I will now close down everything, turn off the computer, Try, Try, Try again!!

Please include logs when you do have a crash, we need them!

Sorry about that. I closed all open programs, turned the computer off. Then I turned it back on, opened L4, checked again to be sure I had B3 (and I do).
Without closing the home page again I typed a passage clicked on Go and CRASH.
Oh, BTW, I am still being required to Sign In each time.

Layouts from Beta 2 have been causing crashes for other users. There have been a number of threads on this. You may need to delete these layouts.

Have been away this morning getting a cataract taken care of on my left eye. Now, I thought I would check it out. Opened the program [still having to Sign In by clicking the box] then through the Library I opened ESV - NO problem. Then called up Library and opened NET - NO problem. Then opened Power Lookup through Tools. Everything is fine.
Then I attempted to open Exegetical Guide, which opened, then typed in my passage and hit Enter. Waited several seconds and the CRASH dialog came up.

Thanks, looks like a regressed bug. Re-opening that case. I'm guessing this happens with Bible Word Study as well?
