Can't erase highlighting

I am unable to erase highlighting that has been applied for a long period of time.

I have no problem erasing recently applied highlighting, but longer-term highlights will not be erased by any of the conventional ways of erasing. The erase icon does not appear in right-clicking; ctrl+shift+k has no effect.

Is there any way to work around this?

You should be able to delete in from the note file … but be careful that you don't accidently delete notes with text and well as highlights.

In many such cases the reason for being unable to delete the highlight is that people configure Logos to show highlights from other bibles - so e.g. you see the highlight in NIV, but years ago you actually highlighted in NASB and just show those in the NIV. You can switch off this configuration, however, a careful mouseover will indicate "highlight from NASB shown" and you could go over and delete it there.
