organizing a collection

I created a collection of my favorite translations and then added that collection to the Passage Guide, which I find really helpful. However, in the PG the translations are listed alphabetically. Is there a way to sort them so that the most important translations in the collection appear first?

Yes … you can demo it in your library. I like keeping my top-use volumes nice and neat, so I frequently chop the 'A' or 'The' off! Especially with long titles.

Unfortunately, no. This is one of several changes that Logos needs to "correct/improve"

This won't be helpful, but I rename the titles of my texts and translations so they sort my way (thru-out the app). Includes inside collections.

Hi @DMB, that actually helps a lot! Part of the issue is that the PG shows the full name and not the short title I gave it, so I have a bunch of translations all named the same thing and it is super difficult to keep them apart. So adding their short title in front of the actual name might fix the issue. That said, I have a translation which starts with an indefinite article, so "A translation" or whatever. Why isn't this coming first in the PB before "Darby"? Does Logos ignore indefinite articles?

Hi @DMB, ya, I agree it is important to keep things nice and neat, so I have been spending time tagging stuff to put them in collections. It is a lot of work but worth it. Also, on a side note, if I ever publish my translation, I can assure you I won't be calling it "The Holy Bible".

BTW I assume you're familiar with Julia Smith's translation (also commented on by Metzger). You remind me of her (biography). She was tenacious … I often look at her translation choices.
