Hello dear community,
Who remembers Steve Clark's Logos Library Reporter, which gave us a helpful overview of our books and categories in Logos? Unfortunately, the author passed away in 2016, and the software tool could not be ported to new Logos versions.
Since I have had an account with AI Claude for quite some time, I had the idea of taking up Clark's idea and having Claude program an equivalent to Library Reporter for me. What can I say: I am thrilled. It worked. My nearly 22,100 books are now organized into 1,620 categories, grouped together, directly clickable, and open in Logos. Additional features were included according to my wishes, such as web search, notes, etc. So if you miss Logos Library Reporter as much as I did, you can easily get a good alternative. A Start.bat, a Logos-Lib.py, - its done! :-)
Best regards from the Black Forest, Germany!
Hermann
