In a post 4.0 release; they'll move to a "compile" model like PBB, because we'll index them with your other user-created content. (Won't force a re-index of your library.)
I think your focusing on the right things to get the new platform off to a great start. I'm really enjoying playing around with the reading list and imagining the possibilities that the refined feature will bring to 4.0. I like the sound of the "compile" direction of the Timelines as well. I have lots of ideas and opinions for Logos. But I know that even if it doesn't go in the direction of my ideas, they are going in a great direction from someone with even greater passion for seeing its full potential realized then I have.
Sounds like a good move, but didn't answer the question... As a creator of many timelines, I'd like to know if it would be wisest to hold off on creating any new 3.x timelines, as i will be wasting time if they don't convert....In a post 4.0 release; they'll move to a "compile" model like PBB, because we'll index them with your other user-created content. Thanks...
That was one of my questions I asked earlier. I did not get a reply at the time, probably because it was hidden among other issues in my post.
So I too ask, will we be able to transfer timelines created from L3 to L4 and will there be the opportunity to create other timelines in L4?
I know that the timeline files caused some indexing crashes in the first release for me, but were fine the next two releases. What I have noticed is that some are recognized, some are not out of the timelines I have in the resources folder.
