Using the software reminds me of the early days with AOL and Microsoft. Constant slowdowns, even scrolling through a page…
Are there any suggestions as to what steps I can take to speed up the software? Not a logging issue.
Also ensure that you have at least 100 GB free space (ideally 375 GB).
Beware that Windows 10 is not supported.
I'm not experiencing those types of issues.
What computer specs do you have - in particular what sort of hard drive?
What sorts of slowdowns / speeds are you seeing?
Tell us about your hardware, OS and version of Logos
Hey Graham, hey Dave. I have read your responses for years . You, along with MJ and Just smiling and others. I thank you so much.

Scrolling pauses, for example, going from verse to verse. In general selecting anything becomes difficult when the software just does not respond for 30 - 60 seconds.
1.83 TB HDD
Is this a hard drive with spinning platters or a solid state disk?
For good Logos performance, a solid state disk is essential.
Okay, Windows 10 is not supported, so I have a flying brick because Logos decided not to do compatibility with existing software.
2 TB Solid State Hard drive with only .17 TB used
In fairness, Logos can't support an OS that is no longer supported by Microsoft! Compatibility should not be an issue for a while, and it should not be the cause of slowness. Are you calling the SSD a hard drive because it comes in a hard drive case?
We need to know where you are experiencing slow responses.
Sorry, I am lazy. I should have said I have both two SSDs and five hard drives. I had purchased 5 computers at the same time. All have Logos installed. Only two of them were able to upgrade to Windows 11.

Are you experiencing slowness on all of them?
If not, what are the specs of the ones exhibiting slowness?
Thanks for the response. Decided to buy 3 Dell machines

I have numerous sermons cataloged in Sermon Manager. However, when I read my Bible, it would be helpful to see if I have preached on a given passage. Since I have so many sermons in Sermon Manager, why aren't they referenced in my Bible? If I put the sermon in a Note, they are indicated in my Bible. Easy. Can I get this…
Is it just a glitch or didn't I get the memo or did Logos remove the monthly free audiobook and free ebook? Also in the German store there is now the English free book of the month shown? I hope not…
Hi all, I'm reading the NIGTC for Luke 23:48, and the reference to Metzger 182 is confusing to me, it does not seem to relate to the topic or passage under discussion. Any help is appreciated: The crowds express their feelings by beating their breasts… a sign of repentance… One or two MSS and the Gospel of Peter 25 make…
Hi! Thanks for any help. I'm using a custom copy and paste style. Whenever I paste the verse into Microsoft Word, it puts a paragraph break after the header. How can I eliminate the paragraph break and only have a line break? Currently, it looks like this: 2 Corinthians 4:2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful…
I have a couple of Bible passage lists that I would like to appear in my Bible. So, for instance, I have a Passage List of memory verses. As I am reading my ESV I would like those memory verses to be indicated in some way (e.g. highlight). Is this possible? Perhaps I need to employ another method?
