Both these monthly offers seem to have disappeared this month. I wonder if that's a permanent change.
It's there: https://www.logos.com/free-book
For subscribers that free book is also still available as well: https://www.logos.com/free-book/subscriber
@Jacob Hantla That's the Logos free book of the month - not the free ebook of the month (Faithlife).
Even the link to the free book on the ebook page seems to take you directly to the normal free book of the month on Logos.
Have this and the audiobook been done away with?
Maybe they will slowly take all the freebies away and go back to nothing free anymore like it used to be years ago.
Maybe it's a glitch they'll fix when they head back to work tomorrow.
I hope so. Taking those away would be a classic Private Equity move, like they did with the birthday freebie.
I can't find the free ebook and audio book either…
What birthday freebie? Do you mean the $20 birthday coupon? If that's what you're referring to, we still get that.
Hoping this is a glitch… :(
@KeenUser That's what I'm referring to.
@Yasmin Stephen We used to get a $20 coupon with no minimum spend requirement. Same at Christmas
I am very thankful for the many, many free books that I got over the years. Recently, I sometimes got 7 books per month! (2 English Logos freebies, 1 for subscribers, 1 Verbum, 1 E-Book, 1 Audiobook, 1 German free book)
Logos certainly has no obligation to continue to offer the free books to us - we really have been very spoiled :-)
A little communication, though, goes a long away.
They did put on their social media that they won't be doing a Daily Deal for a week.
For all our loyal Daily Deal followers, we’ll be making a change after the new year. We’ll skip the first week of 2026. Stay tuned!
Totally agree with every point!!
I understand the birthday coupon now has restrictions, but it's not taken away. As for a Christmas coupon, did we use to get one? I've quite forgotten.
There used to be a Christmas coupon. I'm not complaining. I only pointed out the monthly free ebook seems to have disappeared.
I didn't think you were complaining. I appreciate that you made a post to query, because I too wondered what became of these two freebies, but I mostly just put it down to the public holiday and figured it would be fixed when they're back in office today (I'm guessing it will be today). Over here, it's another public holiday for us today (we're spoiled 😊).
Yes the Christmas coupon was $20 without restrictions.
That was my thought as well. If they did take it away there is nothing wrong with that but heads up would be nice
Right, it used to be a free $20 for birthdays but now if you don't spend $50 you can't use it.
There used to be a $10-$20 free coupon given out in October as well to pastors for pastor appreciation month but that ended after the Bob-era as well.
Thanks for asking! We initially started doing the free ebook and free audiobook promotions because we were building audiences on different storefronts (Faithlife Ebooks and Faithlife Audio). We migrated those into Logos when we sunset the Faithlife brand. Transparently, we’ve never seen much adoption within those programs—evidence that they weren’t working as intended to reach new audiences and encourage existing customers. That's not to mention that the amount of effort it took our team to run them simply wasn’t paying for itself, and we want to focus our time and resources where they create the most value for our growing community. Beginning January 2026, we’ll continue offering the below free book programs, with no plans to change them anytime soon: - Logos free book (currently two each month, compared to the one free book we ran in the past) - Exclusive Subscriber free book - Verbum Catholic free book For a total of up to 48 titles for you, free of charge! (Not to mention the free titles offered to our international audiences.) We will continue to put ebooks and audiobooks on sale as part of our regular monthly sale. I hope that helps!
Thanks for the clarification.
@Jon I remember getting a coupon once simply for ordering prepubs regularly.
I get it. Honestly, I'm not sure I ever read the free ebook and I'm certain I never listened to the free audiobook. I thought I was a weird duck, so it's nice to believe (even if I'm delusional) that I'm closer to normal than I thought. 🙂
Thank you Cheyenne. I get it. It would be nice if these changes could be communicated better though.
Quack, quack! Odd duck here too. I could never remember how to get to the ebooks. I thought it was part of Bob's book-vacume, slurping up everything in sight.
Now, I have to remember what a Logos edition is!
@Cheyenne Lehto Thanks for the clarification!
For a total of up to 48 titles for you, free of charge! (Not to mention the free titles offered to our international audiences.)
Will the German free books continue or not? This Logos comment said the decision about that is still pending?
Cove Hill Partners strikes again.
So, how do we get to Ebooks, step by step, so I can do it again????????
@scooter Obviously there's a homepage but this link sorts by savings and by unowned - excludes novels.

Well, Paul, some more quacking on my part. I hopefully clicked on your link. Interestingly, it doesn't know who I am, but is sure a book on the cart!!
I never understood why Faithlife didn't join the Logos company. Cookie-wise.
@DMB Yes you probably need to authorize your Logos sign in for the link to work.
I'd agree but I just now opened both Logos and Verbum (and forum) with no separate sign-in. Why the defunct Faithlife is still a separate step mystifies. A couple years now?
Anyway it wants the password I'd have to find.
I think it primarily relates to licencing issues - I could be wrong. Obviously they have less tagging, but so do Logos Reader Editions.
@DMB I've noticed there's still some backend stuff with Faithlife and Logos that need to be cleaned up. Maybe in 2026?
Thanks, Paul.
I'm not totally sure if it will happen in 2026 or not, but what I am sure of is that I'm not the DMB you intended to tag. What would be a really good feature is to have unique names/usernames—I'd be on board with that! -DMB (the other one)
I was certain I tagged the other one, but somehow you were tagged. There might be a glitch somewhere in the system. @Jason Stone (Logos) can you test this out?
