48.0.211 Blank and Crash

Opening the app after updating to 48 Beta 1 the desktop is blank.

So is the Study Assistant when clicked (open blank window). Clicking on other toolbar icons no problem except when I click on the Bible it crashes.

Other blank screens include Sermon Manager, Create Sermon, and all other tools.

Thanks for the report, Ian. Would please share your logs here? In this instance, it would be helpful to have the LogosCEF.log, in addition to the usual Logos.log. Thank you.

You are lucky guys… For me the new beta loads only for a split second (after taking quite long showing the startup screen) and immediately crashes.

We are aware of some issues that folks may be running into, such as crashes or opening blank panels. We are investigating, and during that time, we have removed the Windows beta of v48.0.211 from being installed or updated to.

v48 is still accessible from macOS, as that operating system shouldn't be impacted.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

If v48.0 Beta 1 is still installed, doing a "repair" should resolve the issue to get you up and running. Keep in mind, treat this as a temporary workaround as we are still investigating the root issue. Details for the repair can be found here.

The bad beta is in my desktop, so I went to my laptop. Switched off Wi-Fi, then started Logos, the command: set update channel to stable. Then closed Logos, started Wi-Fi, and started Logos.
