Will there be Verbum 2026 Libraries?
Will there be German 2026 Libraries?
There will not be revised Verbum libraries for 2026. Only select product lines will be updated.
Oh no! The Orthodox's with the good stuff?! We're doomed.
Thanks for the info, @Mitch Snyder (Faithlife)!
@Mitch Snyder (Faithlife) I can see various new 2026 libraries (learner, leader, preacher and researcher), but not denominational ones. Have they not been released yet or will they not be updated?
I have found the Orthodox libraries good for resources on the early church fathers.
I normally dump a major chunk of money on upgrading my Anglican, Verbum, Lutheran, and Orthodox packages which all have included some real gems over the years. Unfortunately, this year there was nothing particularly exciting and very little worth opening my wallet for. It is not because there aren't gems left to be produced but rather, Logos appears to have lost interest in broadening its market. I hope your new packages provide a boost in income but it won't be from me this time.
Yep. I also watch for LitPress … some gems. I try to get beyond the Orthodox's but not much success. Ergo doomed. Smiling.
That is an unfortunate development but one that does not surprise me.
I have an eclectic collection of small libraries. Hopefully the denominational packages that get updated will have some good things. Nothing here really catches my eye.
My field and major area of interest is (systematic) theology. I have to wade through a lot of other stuff to get to it in the various libraries that are offered. Each year it's getting harder and harder to find something to purchase. That's partially a result of me having most of what I want already, but it seems like Logos isn't expanding very rapidly in this area—not nearly rapid enough to offer much new in the annual libraries.
This is a very sad development. The changes in the German-language office are also very, very disappointing. All of this will negatively impact my purchases. Even the denominational libraries in 2025 weren't exactly inspiring.
Thank you all for your feedback. To clarify, while we are not releasing new denominational libraries at this moment, that does not mean we won't in the future.
Historically, we had to align library releases with software development cycles. The shift to subscription has removed that limitation, allowing us to release updates to our Standard and Persona lines much faster. Additionally, the content required for these lines is central to many of our publishing partners, giving us a deep pool of resources to choose from.
When it comes to denominational packages, the scope of available new content is not as robust. We simply need more time for high-quality, tradition-specific products to be produced and released. My team and I are constantly working with publishers—both new and established—to expand these areas. Please know we remain fully committed to customers who seek to build their libraries within specific traditions.
We truly appreciate the passion this community has for these specific collections. Your input helps us prioritize our conversations with publishers, so please keep the feedback coming.
@Mitch Snyder (Faithlife) Thanks for the information. Is it planned to add to Catholic products in original German language (e.g. from Herder Verlag) to Logos/Verbum ?
And / or maybe German Catholic Libraries?
Thank you, @Mitch Snyder (Faithlife), for the detailed explanation.

in today's entry in Today in Christian History: Daily Stories: "The librarian said two similar baskets full had been used to kindle fires.*" I'm wondering why it's starred. I've checked the beginning of the document, and the end of it, and the end of the day's story itself, but there seems to be nothing. Anyone have…
I'm having a problem with using Study Assistant with my Premium Subscription. When I attempt to ask a question the spacebar function doesn't work. All the words appear without spaces. Is there a preference function to correct this?

As far as I see, the Carta Understanding series is no longer available in the shop. Is this related to past issues (see here)?
I am curious - it says there are 9 standard libraries, one being Ultimate - but I don't see it mentioned anywhere else? Do you?
