Any idea when volume 4 will be available in Logos?

Volumes 1-3 have been available for quite a while. Volume 4 came out in 2017.
They are only just eBooks, so it's not like there's any tagging that needs to be done.

I too would like to see volume 4 produced.
@DMM I wasn't familiar with this series, but in looking at them, I believe all four volumes would be better suited as Logos editions. Let me work on that…
Thank you! That would be awesome! I was kind of surprised that they weren't!
And does that mean volume 4 will be in the works? :-)
Yep!
Awesome. Perhaps they can make a bundle with all the volumes in it?
This is great news, I have volumes 1-3, the readers-only edition seems a bit limiting. Volumes 1-3 are important, but Volume 4 best sets the stage for contemporary uses of the evil eye amulets.
When I was in Turkey a while back, evil eye amulets were in every shop window. Both Muslims and Christians alike seemed to favor them for "protection."
@Rick Mansfield (Logos) Certainly, I've seen lots of them in the Middle East. Do you have any estimate for when this resource will be available?
@Chris Glenn no, unfortunately. We're in the beginning stages. The license has not yet been signed by the publisher, but it is in process.
@Rick Mansfield (Logos) Just checking, are there any updates for this resource?
Around two weeks ago the license was signed for this book as well as upcycles on the previous four volumes. Plans are to sell them as a set of four and individually. If you've already purchase the previous three as ebooks, you will automatically get the Logos editions when released. Look for a product page for the new volume and the set of four very soon.
Excellent, this fall I'm drill down on teaching 'Evil Eye' influences through the millenia. Volume 4 will help connect it to modern day Middle Eastern thought.
@Rick Mansfield (Logos), just inquiring for any updates to volume 4?
@Rick Mansfield (Logos), are there any updates for volume 4?
I'm starting a couple of rabbinical analysis courses making this a great reference resource.
Any update?
Great to hear vol 4 is in the works and that reader editions will be auto-upscale to Logos Research editions. I purchased vol 3 last April and just picked up vols 1 & 2 as a birthday/Christmas present to myself. So glad you are developing these in Logos @Rick Mansfield . Fascinating material.
Looks like we're waiting on the publisher to deliver files, but I'll poke around and see if I can find out more.
@Rick Mansfield (Logos) It's a thing in Italy and even Israel as well. Someone gave me a shirt from Israel with it on there as a joke.
If you're referring to the so-called evil eye symbol 🧿, I'm well aware. It's all over the Middle East. When I was in Istanbul last, it was in every shop keeper's window—Muslim and Christian alike.
@Rick Mansfield That's the one
It will be great having the rabbinical input from volume 4 as that will be the most modern understanding of the evil eye. I often reference the 3 available volumes.
Is it a fellowship, no offense but, like the Masons?
Not at all, though I could see how you could get that idea from the conversation if you had never heard of it before :-) I first heard of it in a fiction story and wasn't aware it was an actual thing until I listened to the podcast below, which ended up piquing my interest on the topic.
The “evil eye” was a widespread superstition in the ancient world, one that continues on into the present day. The belief that one could cause someone harm merely by looking at them, or cast a spell over them by the same means, shows up in ancient Egypt, Mesopotamian, Greece, Rome, and Rabbinic writings. But does the Bible contain any reference to the notion? This episode explores biblical references to having an “evil eye” and discusses the meaning of those references in biblical thought.

EVIL EYE (רַע עָיִן, ra‛ ‛āyin, “evil of eye”; ὀφθαλμὸς πονηρός, ophthalmós ponērós): The superstition of the influence of the “evil eye,” so widely spread over the earth, has had a mighty influence on life and language in Pal, though direct references to it are not frequent in the Scriptures (Dt 15:9; 28:54, 56; Prov 23:6; 28:22; Mt 20:15 [cf Mt 6:23; Lk 11:34]; Mk 7:22).
Luering, H. L. E. “Evil Eye.” The International Standard Bible Encyclopaedia, edited by James Orr et al., vol. 1–5, The Howard-Severance Company, 1915, p. 1042.
And the use of 'bewitched' [ebaskanen - ἐβάσκανεν] in Galatians 3:1 was a common reference to the influence of the evil eye. (Paul was being sarcastic)
