NIV Application Collection Sale

I think that this is a good deal and as advertised, probably the best deal for all the resources included. I don't have the additional volumes, but I do have the individual commentaries and One-Volume Edition. Any recommendations on the remaining volumes? Are they worth getting? It wouldn't be too expensive for me to pick them up.

I don’t own the extra books either. But, I am surprised that the web site says that the Romans Bible Study and Revelation Bible Study (pre-pub) are just E-Books and not Logos editions.

After seeing so many problems with e-books in Logos, I wouldn’t consider them personally.

I do think that I'm pretty aware of issues with eBooks in Logos - I wouldn't say we've seen "many" or "so many" of them. Yes, that Romans bible study is an eBook, i.e. type monograph, no index, no search fields, no subject metadata.

Actually, however, looking into it, there is not much difference to a Logos edition. A Logos Research edition might have input fields where it says [Your Respose Here], but it might as well have not. The "Ebook instructions" advise to use the notetaking feature of your device, and that is an acceptible workaround also in Logos. I don't see much difference to other bible study resources. Since it is a bible study, not a commentary or deeply academic work, there are no footnotes that miss links to other books or such.

I took the opportunity - for a few bucks I received the Romans Bible Study, the Devotional and the Atlas:

I haven't done much with the Devotional (it's a Logos Reader's Edition but other than that it has a page index up to page 19 (!) it looks pretty much the same as the Bible Study which is an eBook Edition) and can't say anything about the content. The Atlas resource however seems to be top notch: lots of cool and detailed maps, many timelines, also things I haven't seen in other Atlas resources like year cycles and rainfall graphics. This definitely was worth it.
