What with the series of Classical Commentaries on Genesis, Romans and Revelation and ? more to come as well as several attractive collections suddenly appearing in the past few days, we're all going to be in the poor house! Let's just hope that Logos spreads the releases out over a period of time and doesn't dump them on us all at once.

I Agree with Alex. Logos, please spread them out over then next **** years or so...OR let us have them with a payment plan similar to the regularly purchased resources.

Payment plan = being in debt when even MORE resources hit the pre-pub list down the road. Won't this just compound the problem? Not that I'm suggesting any other way around the current and growing problem, which is an abundance of resources that many of us can't afford to buy all of, whether at pre-pub prices or not. The only real solution I see is self-restraint. A payment plan would make it slightly more affordable, though, for those who buy using credit cards that they plan to pay off over time, since the "interest" on the Logos plan is a flat monthly fee per purchase, so it's proportionally lower for higher-priced items.

A suggested and workable alternative is to regularly call Logos and purchase credits/gift certificates to your account. Then when the pre-pubs come due you can simply pay them off.

For me a workable alternative has been to use paypal, and a paypal based credit card for Logos. When I do order a book, I put the cash into my account and just enjoy the book when it's finally released. Of course it helps that I am now so limited that I'm not even letting myself look at the prepub page. <sigh>

Thank you Thomas. I had no idea that Logos offered gift certificates or a credit to your account type of system. I like this. If I had known this I could have purchased the new Greek and Hebrew video sources when they were on prepub, paying for them bit-by-bit before they were released. Sort of like a lay-away program.
