Will Logos run on the new MacBook Neo with the A18 chip? If how do I install when it asks if the MacBook had a M series chip or Intel chip? The Neo had neither - it runs on the A18 iPhone chip.
you would use the M-series download. And I am sure it will run Logos just fine. I would suspect that it would be the power equivalent of an m1 or m2 MacBook Air.
for what it is worth I have had an M1 Pro and an m4 pro and I can hardly tell any difference between the two. if it were not for the one video I make each week for church I would not even know they were different computers (m1 took about 21 minutes to export and the m4 about 17 minutes).
The question you should also consider is not only will it run the Logos of today but will it run the Logos of tomorrow. At some point the minimum requirements will be lifted. You would want to get a reasonable life span out of the Neo you buy today before tomorrow comes around and you have to replace it. But that is probably a question no one can answer at this
Correct on the M Series download (regardless if it's a "M" chip, "A" and "M" chips are Apple Silicon).
I already have a M2 MacBook Air (runs Logos fine), but I may throw one of these in my back room next to my printer since I've had inconsistent printing since iPadOS 26, and Apple hasn't fully addressed it yet. Printing from my MacBook Air works. I had thought about getting a cheap Windows PC back there, but with the Neo at this cost, I could easily go Mac. If I do, I'll throw Logos on it just for fun testing.
I have used Logos on the base MacBook Neo that my eldest daughter just purchased. I downloaded it specifically to try how it works, and it runs incredible smoothly. I don't have an M-something MacBook Air/Pro Mac Mini, etc to compare it to, but in comparison to how it runs on my 2020 intel MacBook Pro and my windows gaming setup, it runs very smoothly. Better than my old MacBook Pro (as expected) and just as well as my desktop PC.
This is just from a short while using Logos on it. I plan to test it out some more in the coming week before I decide to purchase one myself.
I hope this helps.

I remember years ago seeing the syntax where I could find all the commentaries that discussed certain passages together. I want to see all Bible commentaries that mention Matthew 24 and I Thessalonians 4 together where they discuss how the Parousia in Mt relates to the one in Paul. I forgot the syntax. I asked the Study…
So when I visited Logos in Bellingham 10 years ago this spring (such a cool visit that was!), one of the things I really enjoyed learning was that they had a department there with artists whose sole job it was to create the Logos Verse of the Day - no restrictions on which book or verse they chose, or how they chose to do…
I was recommended to find "B.B. Warfield, The Inspiration and Authority of Scripture (Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing), ch. 1." I have this, B. B. Warfield Collection (20 vols.) | Logos Bible Software, which includes The Works of Benjamin B. Warfield, Vol. 1: Revelation and Inspiration | Logos Bible Software. How do I…
I have been eagerly awaiting the release of my pre-pub order of Exalting Jesus in Numbers (Christ-Centered Exposition Commentary | CCE) and I saw that it was supposed to be today 04/15/26. I refreshed my pre-pub orders page but now it doesn’t have a date of when I can expect it. Has it been pushed back? To when?
I have the NET Bible, both first and second editions. I learned today that this Bible is known for its notes. So i opened the Bible and I don't see any notes. So I'm thinking, Logos probably has the notes as a separate resource. I see that Logos has a Study Bible of the first edition of the NET notes. But I see nothing for…
