Best way to put old notes from Bible College that are hand written done in the 70's

I have some old school notes that I would like to put in Logos pro they are hand written and it would be nice to have them in the Logos app. I have seen several ways mentioned like Sermon builder, set them up in the notes part to the program and then type them up in word and transfer them into Logos as a book. any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks in advance. 😊

I would recommend creating personal books with your notes. Type them into MS Word and import them as a personal document. Note files in Logos are too restrictive, and the Sermon Builder isn't built for this purpose.

I, too, have many such notes, but not the time nor typing skill to put them into Logos, but this is what I would do if I could.

Of course, type them in with the verse ref properly formatted/tagged.

But agree with Mark. I actually like the personal books, since they can directly link, side by side, to your Bible. OTOH, there's no little notes icon in your Bible. Plus/minus.

Agree Personal book is a good option. The big sticking point is they are not acessibe outside of desktop environment and so would be a factor depending upon how one wants to use them.

@Simon’s Brother Has a point. If you want to access the notes on your tablet or phone, the best bet would be to put them in Logos Notes, as Personal Books do not appear on mobile devices.

Also, if you have access to MS Word, Google Docs, Apple Pages, Apple Notes, or one of the many other current word processing programs, you could dictate your notes rather than type them. That way, you would only have to type to tidy them up.

If you put them in Logos Notes and have the Explorer tool open (It's under tools) when you read your Bible, it will show you your notes that contain Bible verses related to what you are reading, under the My Content section.

There is no right way, you get to choose the way that works best for you.

Best way is to scan them and save as PDF.

OCR doesn’t normally do well with handwriting, but you could try it. Without OCR a PDF will not be searchable.

Are they so few that typing them in is an option you are considering? That is a lot of work but will give the best results. And the benefit is that you can keep them outside of Logos and also import them as notes.

How many pages of notes do you have?
