Since upgrading to MacOS Tahoe (26.3.1) my Proclaim desktop shortcut icon is invisible. I've adjusted MacOS settings and recreated the shortcut but it is still completely transparent/invisible.
Hi @ECF Worship Arts, I've seen similar icon issues with macOS Tahoe. A couple things worth trying: 1. Delete the existing shortcut, then drag Proclaim from your Applications folder back to the Desktop to create a fresh shortcut. 2. If that doesn't help, try right-clicking the shortcut > Get Info — sometimes macOS caches an old/blank icon and the Get Info window can force a refresh. 3. Make sure you're on the latest version of Proclaim (4.17) — you can check under Proclaim > About Proclaim. If none of that works, it might be worth reaching out to the Proclaim support team directly so they can look into whether it's a macOS Tahoe-specific compatibility issue: https://proclaim.logos.com (click the Support menu).
Hi Brock,
Thanks for the reply. First I tried recreating an alias with a right-click, but that just did the same thing; the icon is transparent. Then I followed your suggestion of dragging the app from Applications folder to the desktop and that seems to have worked. Weird, but I've got a solution. Thanks for the alternative tip!
