Is Books Offline Available for iPad
I am going to be getting an iPad soon, but since AT&T just got rid of the unlimited data usage plan, I want to know it I can download my books to the iPad just like I can on my iTouch. Otherwise I can only access my books mainly if there is wi-fi nearby, because of the limits on data usage.

Yes there is offline mode for iPad.
Thanks, I had read some reviews that claimed that there wasn't really an offline mode. so I wanted to check it out. That will be so helpful.

Unfortunately there are a few inaccuracies among the iTunes Store reviews and there's no way for us to address that there. That particular reviewer was probably confused because you can only download a book you own.

Thank you so much for your help, that makes sense, it was one of the reasons I am glad I upgraded to L4. I will be excited to use it on the iPad (when it gets here, it was ordered for me and another pastor on our staff as a gift on Wed 6/17 so it will be a few weeks before it gets here, hopefully it doesn't end up on a slow boat to China).

Actually, it arrives on a slow boat from China, It's not really slow, but it sure seems that way when awaiting your iPad.

Hi - iPad is greaaaat!
But help is needed on transferring from online to offline mode: works perfectly except for today - trying to put "New int Bible Commentary by ffbruce" (NiBC) but after 5 hours it still is not offline. All other Zondervan pubs no problem.
Any suggestions?
Hey Logos - what about a download indicator to let us know how the transfer/if the transfer is working?
Thanks
