Description

On starting up b3, preparing library dialogue, came up, system tray icon appeared saying indexing was at stage 1 of 3.  Windows then report logos4.exe had crashed and asked if I wanted to submit an error report.  I clicked on send error report.  This then hung tyring to connect to microsoft, so I cancelled out of this process.  L4 then continued to load normally.

Repro

  1. Open Logos 4
  2. Sign in box came up saying Logos.com could not be reached.  I clicked on sign in (this happens everytime applicaiton starts)

Actual Result

Windows reported application had crashed.  After trying to submitt error reports and cancelling this process after that didn't  work, the application loaded normally

Expected Result

Applicaiton start up without needing to click on sign in, without need for preparing libraary step as indexing had been competed yesterday and no new resources were added and no license sync had been done in L3.

Logs:

3386.Logos4Indexer.zip

Logs indicate program tried to access protected memory.

    Andrew,

I'm missing 1000 resources that were functioning this morning - including all the new ones that I only installed on Monday.

Funnily enough, I still have papyrus 0162. Sadly, that doesn't include the text for this Sunday's gospel :)

I shutdown L4, and removed extra path from L3 as per isues raised in this post. Shut down and did another restart of L3 to ensure change took place.  Started L4 again and got the Preparing LIbrary again... but hasn't crashed this time but is now downloading 400MB+ of resources... where did these come from ?

    now downloading 400MB+ of resources.

Mine started indexing everything again. After it got through 200 or so of the greatly reduced 1900 resources it shut down. I was quick enough to open the indexing log to discover that a number of resources had been downloading while the indexing was happening. The one or two of these which I remember are not date-stamped for today, so they do not seem to be updated resources.

Everything (or 2/3rds of everything) has begun indexing again.

I have no idea what is going on. I also have no idea how large the download was - the only indicator that I saw was for 25 MB.

Mine finished downloading and said program updates are ready to install...so I click on install updates and now app appears to be haning... I thought if I startup the libronix app itself which I had shutdown earlier, it might spur it on to move it on in the process.. no joy ...logos loog is now stuck on screen... loooking at processes seems to be three instances of logos4.exe running....
