Use of pocket or handheld clicker for slide advance

Question

Has any team having proven success using a handheld clicker (like logitech) for slide management in Proclaim?  I find it distracting to have to reach-out to an iphone or ipad to execute a swipe action, when a simple device in my hand or pocket would allow a more fluid presentation.  Has any team found a successful configuration ?

Our setup is: Projection on Mac Mini with multiple monitors on a HDMI splitter.  Proclaim Remote app on iphone.  Also, I have tried a separate MacBook running the full Proclam app with a dongled “clicker” that advances the slides locally but does not influence the Mac Mini copy.  A second try was iPhone accessibility with Switches, but not consistently effective.

Ideas appreciated.

We have a Logitech clicker and it works well. Keep in mind that clickers often do nothing more than send a "Right Arrow Key" command to whatever program is active on the desktop. In our experience, this means that if proclaim gets set up, but then the audio booth needs to correct something on the livestream and so clicks out of Proclaim, the slides will not advance. I've often had to signal my guy to click back into Proclaim.
