I want to preface what I'm about to say with this: I too am
guilty but want to challenge 'us' as a Logos community of believers and as
individuals and a collection members of The Church to "Let your speech always
be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer
each person. (Col 4:6)".

Of late I've wondered if someone totally unfamiliar with the Logos product
stumbled upon these forums and started reading how we interact with Logos (the
company) and the manner with which we speak to one another, if they'd know us
by the love we have one for another. If they'd find us markedly like Christ; or
if they'd find a community of consumers who, fueled by a right we've earned by placing
beloved mammon on a product, demand coarsely that are needs be meet. Are we
speaking corruptly from our 'mouths' and tearing people down?  Are we, or could we be, perceived to be, bitter, wrathful,
and angry?  Are we kind to each other,
tender hearted, and showing forgiveness (Ephesians 4:29-32)?  Are we finding, even seeking, occasion to
bridle our tongue (James 1:26)?

As I said, This is not intended to be a pointed accusation,
rather a challenge to us as a group to be salt and light, whether were
interacting with a company of who we are a customer or with people on a forum
that we may not agree with.  I
see this
as an exciting opportunity for us, as a group, to purpose to be salt
and light
as called and bridle our toungs to the glory of our God who in his
grace and mercy forgave us and for us to be bearing fruits worthy
of repentance. "Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration,
comfort one
another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and
peace
will be with you. 12 Greet one another with a holy kiss" (2 Cor 11/12).

With Love and for His service,

John
