With the discussion about the missing letters in the Greek alphabet in the Learn To Use Greek tutorial, I though it might be helpful for some, if we were to have the Greek alphabet at the beginning of the pronunciation tool.
Hi Jerry,
Not exactly what you suggested, but the end of the NET Bible has a good table for both Hebrew and Greek.
Same idea in the Intro in EBC. Also, a number of other resources too.
Once you find one in your library, add a Toolbar Icon, or add a link in your Favorites, or maybe assign a hotkey in Favorites.
Ops - the Forum software can't deal with the new kinds of shortcut from Logos4.0d
L3 says its:
libronixdls:jump|pos=LLS-AOL%3A61341%3CDIV2752%3E.0.0|res=LLS%3A1.0.1026
Or if it works, HERE
That opened perfectly to the right place in my library! *smile* Thanks, Jim!
Good tip! Thanks Jim!
LOL, I think it's pretty funny that you suggested the NET letter charts as a remedy for the Learning Hebrew/Greek videos. Both of the charts have significant mistakes. I noticed this a week or two ago. Just making another quick scan of them I see:
Aleph : the symbol used is ` when it should be ' -- a small point (I made a punny!)
Kaf, Mem, Nun, Peh, Tsade, Sigma all need attention. I won't even bother commenting on tran-slit-ur-aye-shun or pro-nun-see-aye-shun...blech.
If you aren't familiar with these respective alphabets, this isn't the place to try to learn them...until repaired.

I discovered that too in a recent attempt to answer someone's question, but you can paste the new style link into the forum, and the person can copy that and paste it into their Logos command bar and it will work. Try it:
logosres:kjv;ref=BibleKJV.Ge31.2

Please don't laugh - I was trying to be helpful.
OK - Yes, the NET Bible has Sigma wrong, now I've taken a close look. [Greek Sigma should be σ within a word, and ς if final. The chart in NET got it 2/3 right, yet still wrong)I have not begun to learn Hebrew, so like others, tend to trust lists and tables like this. If you know corrections, please submit typo reports or more complete feedback to Logos so this can be improved.
Thanks for pointing out they are not correct as they stand.
