Will a USB-Monitor work with WPF and Logos4?

I understand its possible to buy a monitor that connects to the USB-2 port, and can then provide a 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc screen.

I know they won't perform as fast as a "real" monitor on an internal high-performance video controller.

However, the real questions:

1) Will they work with WPF?

2) Will they work with Logos4?

3) Does anyone have one already, and can speak to their merit or otherwise?

(Sometimes I plug this laptop into my HD-TV via HDMI cable, and run Logos4 on both screens. Its great for some things. I love that Logos4 supports multiple monitors. I was thinking it would be great to have a small 10"-12" monitor here beside the laptop at times.)

Comments on works-or-not with Logos4 please. I'm not asking for prices, web sites to buy one, which brands are better. However, if some types work, and some do not, thats important.

When Logos came out in November there were some issues with some USB monitors not supporting WPF and thus wouldn't work with Logos. See Bradley's comments here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/9393/74743.aspx#74743 . I would suggest you do a search to see if the hardware you have/are considering buying uses drivers that can display a WPF app.

Maybe, if I do decide to buy one, I should carry my laptop into the shop, and see it working with Logos4 first.

I have two different usb to monitor devices and with the most recent drivers there is no problem with wpf or logos working with either of them.

They are produced by two different manufacturers but both use the displaylink chips 1 uses the older chip and 1 uses the newer chip.
