Is it possible to attach notes to a visual filter?

As I am going through the Learn DVDs, I am creating a range of filters. I would like to jot down what they do, why I did them (!), and some examples of the implications.

It's not possible, but this is a good suggestion.

In the meantime, here's a hack that might do the trick for you. Just use one of the fields in the Visual Filter for your notes, something like this:

Since the text in your note won't match anything, it won't affect the highlighting when you turn on this visual filter. I'm not sure if it would slow things down any, but probably not significantly since searching is so fast.

    Nice Hack, Rosie.

Maybe if the comment line was in quotes and started with an "impossible" match, it might run more efficent.

    E.G.:

"ZZZ My note about what this VF does and why I need to use it"

(One day, I will learn how to spell common words.)
