In the Alpha 23 release notes it says that the "Home PageLibrary slide show tool implemented." Where is this and how does it work? I'm expecting it means that we can have the ability to see our book covers scrolling through a slide show.
Look for it on the home page ribbon
Thank you, I see it now. I looked on the ribbon initially but wasn't patient enough to wait for the slide show transition. I think it would be nice if the slides changed more quickly.
My question is, Is this the only purpose of the Library Slide Show? Just to scroll through books one at a time? Or are their future things to be implemented in it? If not, for me, it's not a feature I would use, though others might. Just wondering if there is future implementation or does it currently have a greater use than just scrolling through books one at a time?
You can use the little arrows to move through your books at any speed you wish
Some of our users have 4000+ books and may not even realize what they have. This little tool simply scrolls through your library. you may find a book you didn't know you had in your library
You can turn it off in the Home Page customization.

The slide show is one of my reasons for starting with the home page. When Logos 4 first came out, one of the things I missed was the feature in Logos 3 that displayed books from my library. I was glad to see it return with improvements.
Is there an option between "off" and "on"? I like the feature a lot, and have found stuff buried in my library which I didn't know I had. HOWEVER, about 3/4 of the show is every single issue of every journal, every volume of every multi-volume set, etc. Any way to trim it down so that I'm seeing only distinct sets?
Not right now. You may wish to suggest such a thing at http://logos.uservoice.com/.
