Indexing with (1 resource remaining) for 17+ hours
Is this normal? It took several hours to index nearly 2500 resources. But I have been stuck on "1 resource remaining" since just before midnight, the 21st. I have been downloading consistently in the 30+ mbps range since then. ???

Hello Abraham,
Can you attach the Logos4.log and Logos4indexer.log files to this thread? You'll find those in \Documents\Libronix Log Files.
Thanks,

The logs are attached in the zip file. Thanks for the reminder.
I had to reboot and have been running with "1 resource remaining" since last night, 09/23/2009, around 11:40PM MDT.
Before that I had been running with "1 resource remaining" since few minutes before midnight on the 21st. I have only had the full program running for a few seconds and that over a week ago . Almost immediately an automatic download started and that was the last time. Can't wait for life after the download!
Intel Core 2 CPU 600 @ 1.86 Ghz
2 GB RAM,Intel G965 Express Chipset Family nVidia with 512MB
Any system spec related to the issue (e.g., if there is a visual problem, list your monitor size and screen resolution): N/A
Windows XP Media Center, SP 3 on a PC
Now downloading at over 31+mbps (as per speedtest.com)
Memory use at over 313712k
CPU use at 50%Any suggestion?

Thanks, I have reported the issue. I'm not sure why it sits frozen at 1 resource. I'll keep you posted as soon as I get a response. Can you get into the program at all?

Hi it looks like a problem with:
C:\Documents and Settings\Test Account\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4\Data\1uyspet5.iip\ResourceManager\Resources\GS_REV_104.lbxlls
Please navigate to that folder and move that file to somewhere else. We will need a copy of that file to test with, so please use http://www.megaupload.com to upload it and post the link here.

i could not move it so i copied it to another location. i tried to use the web site you recommended but did not know how to copy the file to it. Sorry!
I did try to get it to you via a zip file though. I am a novice with all of this it was probably something simple that i missed but could not figure out how to get the file to the upload cite.
Tell me if there is a workaround to move the file while it is being used by L4? Because of that I could not do anything but copy it.

It's okay, you must first close L4 and L3 and the L4Indexer as well, only then you may move the file out of the directory. To upload go to http://www.megaupload.com/, then click on the Browse button, find that file and choose it. Next enter a description and click the 'Send' button. It will show you the progress below and at the end it will have a link to the file, you may provide that link here (there may be some advertisements on this site).

Abraham,
The size of the book file I downloaded from the megaupload site is quite small in comparison to its correct size. Can you check the file date and size on your computer?
Thanks,

Abraham,
You can download a complete, uncorrupt version of the file at ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks/GS_REV_104.lbxlls. Close Logos 4 and LDLS 3, then save the file to your default path in LDLS 3, which is probably C:\Program Files\Libronix DLS\Resources. Also, delete the GS_REV_104.lbxlls file in the Logos 4 path: C:\Documents and Settings\Test Account\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4\Data\1uyspet5.iip\ResourceManager\Resources\. Then restart Logos 4 and allow it to index again.
Thanks, Melissa
