Some thanks to Logos, and Eeepc query...
Just a quick thanks to Logos for keeping the wiki nicely updated. The videos about new update features were a welcome surprise 
On the topic of Eeepcs... I have Logos 3 on my 901, and that works decently enough. I have had the thought to remove it and replace it with L4. I've read on this forum Eeepcs with harddrives can handle it decently, but I'm on solid state. Can any comment on whether it's a wise move, or if L3 is still the better version for earlier netbooks?

I have had both on that computer, and both work, but Logos 4 is way too slow, for me. In practical terms for me Libronix 3 is the only way to go, but you may be different! I have a little 13 in asus...it handles Logos 4 quickly and is perfectly acceptable when it comes to quickness!

On the topic of L4 on 1.3ghz Atom (for whomever knows)- how sluggish is it after the recent updates? If it's a little slower than L3, I can live with it. But if it's borderline unusable then...

I use an Asus, 1.66 CPU, with 2 GB RAM, Windows XP, and it works fine with only slight lags now and then. I keep about 15 apps open all the time, total memory usage being about 1 GB. I'm certain I do not hammer L4 the way some people here do, but its performance is fine for what I do.Though a slight hassle, I do discipline myself to minimize applications when switching from one to another (instead of switching via the taskbar) because this significantly reduces memory usage. If you don't believe me, open Task Manager, highlight L4 (or just about any app), and then minimize it. I've seen its memory usage plummet from 140 MB to 15 MB. Most Windows apps will respond this way. For some reason both L3 and L4 usually (but not always) start grabbing more memory when minimized, up to 90, or more, MB. Sometimes they behave themselves. I don't know what causes this.

Thanks David. My Eeepc is only a 1gig machine, so... if I go down the L4 route I'll have to be careful. When using L3 I generally don't run anything else at the same time.
