I've tried to download the same books 5-10 x to offline reading.  Some take. Most won't.

Any suggestions?

Are you also having issues loading web pages or emails?  What version of iOS?  What model of iPod Touch (1st, 2nd, 3rd [32/64])?

Not sure what you mean by iOS.  I have logos 4. I have ipod touch 3rd/
    32.

Only application that I am having Ipod problems is with
logos.  All other apps work fine.  Haven't tried to set up email yet.

iOS = version of the software (iPod) - it was called 'iPhone OS' and yours probably came with 3.1.2 or 3.1.3.  I've had a few network issues since updating it to 4.0 which is why I wondered if you had installed that update (to the general iPod Touch software, not the Logos App).

It really depends on your WiFi connection - if that's not strong, you'll have issues downloading.  If you switch from the Logos app before it finishes a book, it won't resume where it left off, either.

    Hope that helps.

I'm not very techy, so don't know if I followed your whole conversation.  I've only had this ipod touch a month, so it's the most up to date version.  I went through the logos.com website to initially click on downloading the app.  That obviously took me to the itunes website, where I downloaded it from there.

I have tried to download my books on the ipod when using wifi in the house.  And also with the ipod connected right to the usb port on the computer.  I've had problems both ways.  One advice you do give,,if I understand you correctly is not to disconnect from the logos app too soon, and I am sure I've done that plenty of times.

Let me know if I didn't understand your suggestions very well.  And thanks for the help.

Kathleen--I am not an iPod touch expert, but I have one (3rd gen as you), and I have downloaded books successfully.  So, unless there is something more detailed that an expert needs to tell you, I'd say: try downloading one book, say, a Bible, when you are at home and near your router/modem.  Don't switch out of the Logos app until the book downloads (cross your fingers!)  That's all I can do for ya.  [:)]

    I like Apples.  Especially Honeycrisp.

thanks,  That seems to be the primary advise right now.  Will try to download books more slowly without zipping in and out of the app so quickly.  Thanks.
