auto update stopped at 12 how do I catch up?

I went to www.logos.com/logos4mac and before I could select anything it started a download but when everything was done nothing changed. It still says Alpha 12 (4.03.3.5795) I have the little blue icon show up regularly that usually says downloading o% of 2.41 something but nothing ever changes. Obviously I don't know what I'm doing? Help!

There's nothing to "select". That is the download link. In your downloads directory, there should be a disk image that contains the latest version of Logos 4 Mac. Open the disk image and copy the application bundle to your Applications directory.

I'm struggling to understand what you're trying, the result you're expecting vs the result that you're getting. From the top, the steps look like this:
1) download the latest from http://www.logos.com/logos4mac
2) open the .DMG and copy the app bundle to your applications directory
3) if the indexer is running (little blue icon in the menu bar?) cmd-shift-click the icon in the menu bar and choose "cancel all"
4) launch the new version of the app by double-clicking on the app bundle that now resides in the applications directory
