Just a thought as we are a large community could logos put a very good quality ssd drive into the community pricing system and get everyone a very fast logos system ? Or as an option sell a preloaded solid state drive ?
Or can anyone else suggest a way of getting bulk discount?
I am in the Uk so if other UK users are interested we could all talk to a single supplier and get a great price ?

I think a better prospect would be a tech purchasing consortium. While there are a large number of Logos users (approx 750,000 I think) There is a much smaller technically minded subset, and an even smaller base which would be interested in a very good price on an SSD.
However....
If you can find a supplier willing to be a part of it, send the link and information to Logos and who knows. I'll probably bid. :-)
