OK. I Give Up. Why Can't I Copy & Paste Verses From My NIV?

When I copy in order to paste verses from the NIV all it copies is the first word of the verses but in Greek?! Huh?  I shut Logos down and restarted but it does the same thing.  I should note that when I highlight the text and right click, the "copy" option is not at the top of the list but way down the list.  This might be something simple that I am doing wrong? or is it a bug? Anyone else have the same experience?

It works fine for me, let me show you what I did and see if you see something different:

    1. Open up NIV, highlight the text to be copied (I did John 3:22-26 here).

Then right click on the highlighted text, and BE SURE that Selection is selected, and not something like "Lemma"  (#1), and then click on Copy (#2):

Then open up Word, right click and paste:

On the right hand side of the Context menu have you selected "Selection" which is followed by the English words you selected?  Copy should be at the top on the other side.

    EDIT: thanks Dom!

    Garrett,

Dominick has shown you how to copy some text, let me tell you why this happened.

The right click menu remembers the way you left it last time. So sometime in the past you had right clicked on a word, selected MSS or Lemma (perhaps to launch a word study or something like that). The next time you right clicked MSS or Lemma was still selected and hence you got only 1 Greek word when you were expecting a block of NIV text.

If you toggle between Selection and Lemma in the right click menu you will notice that the copy command shifts on the left side. Take note of the positions and it will help alert you when you have Selection or some other option in effect on the right side of the context menu.

Yep.  "Selection" was the key.  I had indeed used the right click to do a lemma earlier.

Looks like I need a training session!

    TX guys.
