Problems with copy bible verses to Word 2003...Please help

When I try to use the copy bible verse feature, I click the cbv icon.  Instead of the verse being pasted into the document I am working in, it opens another blank document and pastes it there.

I have smart tags in Word activated.  I've done all the updates in Word.

Any suggests?

    Rick,

    If you have Smart tags in Word, why use CBV? Just type the reference in Word, hover over it until the small icon with and 'i' in a circle appears, click on the icon,  and choose 'replace with passage'

    Thanks for responding.  I use the CBV module because I am usually in Libronix when I find a verse I want to paste into my notes in Word.  Since the CBV  module brings up the reference that is active in Libronix,  I can just click the CBV icon and the verse is ready to copy and paste without me having to even type in the reference.

    I do appreciate your help.  I have used the method you suggested and it might be that I have to do it that way.

    I am running Windows 7 and Libronix 3.0g

    One more thing that makes this problem even more confusing.

    If I use the smart tag method to insert a verse, it works, even if Libronix isn't open.  If I use the smart tag method while Libronix isn't running, it will automatically open it and the CBV module comes up with the reference in it, ready to be pasted. 

    If I already have Libronix running and I use the smart tag method, it opens Libronix again.  I will actually have two windows of the Libronix program running.  

    But, once I have used the smart tag method one time, the CBV module works fine.  It will paste the references I want into the document just like it is supposed to.

    I know this is confusing.

    It does not do this for me. I only have one copy running.

    When I try this and Libronix isn't open it always opens it.

    I should also say that I am using Word 2007 in Windows 7. When I use CBV the first time without first using Smart Tags I do not have an extra copy of a Word document opening up as you do.

    So I can use the 3.0 CBV without problems in my installation.

    Thanks Mark for your help.  I finally figured it out.  I have to run Word in compatibility mode for all users.
