A26 Mouseover Popups

I have noticed that the tool tips over hot links either displays as expected, pops up and disappears, or does nothing at all. I have determined that the ones that fail are toward the bottom of resource windows. It may have to do with expected placement being off screen for the tool tips. Changing the program scaling back to default seems to correct it. So it may just one of the bugs that helped you determine to remove native support for that particular feature.

The place I checked it was in LLS:40.40.38 chapter 2 at paragraph "A Rich Legacy to Enjoy". If a link was toward the bottom of the window, then the tool tip would not work properly. If I scroll down, then it would. I suspect it had to do with the Display Factor Scale being set to 78%. I am aware that ability to control this in Logos has been removed. But since it is a OS feature, it can still be set via terminal. When set back to default, the problem went away. That is why I suspect it was one of the problems and reasons that this feature was removed in later alpha's.

It wasn't so much problems such as the one you mention, which is probably quite fixable, but more problem with Apple's own controls that don't behave properly. Apple's own documentation says that setting AppleDisplayScaleFactor to a value other than 1.0 is not recommended for end users, because Apple doesn't implement it completely in their own toolkit and thus developers can't be assured that it will work as expected.
