How do I open a second copy of my ESV?
This is probably easy, I just don't know how to do it. How do I open a second copy of my ESV to work in?

Select ESV from your library, right click and open in new tab.

However with the frequency that this done an option on the drop down menu (with 'Float this Panel' etc) would be a really good idea.

You may also want to create a start icon on the toolbar of the main pane, so that you can do this any time you want. You can do that by dragging your Bible's tab to the icon area of the toolbar.
I tend to keep the second copy unlinked so that I can flit about in it without "losing my place" in the first copy.
In addition you may find it helpful to send hyperlinks to the second copy, so that it opens at clicked on cross-references. To do that just click on the drop arrow and select Send hyperlinks here. Then every time you want to chase down a reference your second copy will move to that reference without affecting your place in the first copy, which may well be linked to Passage Guide or Exegetical Guide or the Greek or Hebrew text.

Just click on ESV title - hold down the control button - drag to the right. That will give you a second copy.

With the Mac version, use the command key.

In the Windows version we have also an option on the right click menu "Open a copy in a new tab". If you do that with let's say ESV, it opens new tab with the ESV Bible with the same reference, just without any links of the original ESV Bible, which is as it should be IMHO.
