I was going to write "Request" but really don't think we should have to request this as really it should have been done from the beginning. Hmm

Can there please be user selectable choice not to have words of Christ in red. It is very annoying viewing in this way and is really mainly only an American preference.

Also could there be more font options (font face, colour etc.) including for superscripted reference & notes links and perhaps even page background colour choice. Have a look at the Olive Tree iPad app for an example of providing many colour/font/layout choices.

    Really?

I've got printed bibles with, and without Red Letter. I'm half a world away from America, and have never heard of such a thing before now.

(As to your original question: The PC version has a Red Letter on/off option. It makes sense to me that having that for the iThings version should be there too. And as you said, not everyone actually likes Red Letter. Its also not "original" and its up to the translation team to "decide" where a quote starts and ends.)

Not that it really matters, but yes it started in the US

what does matter is that I (and many others I'm sure) don't like it. The iPad screen looking at the ESV version looks like a fairground - black text, red text, blue text. Just one colour would be much more preferable.

    agreed

I also dislike red letter. I can turn it off on PC, so logos recognizes that not everyone appreciates it. So, please give us the option on the iphone. Thanks heaps!
