Windows shuts Logos 4 down on startup

Please can someone help me sort out my L4? Windows suddenly shuts it down @ startup saying that Logos has stopped working and that a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. I've made no changes since yesterday and am using Windows7 x64. I found the following in the log file I created following advice collected from the outstandingly helpful posts [THANKS GUYS AND GIRLS!]
Error ID: 5262
Error detail: XamlParseException: There is an unclosed literal string. Line 2, position 1200.
If anyone can help and/or give me very simple instructions as to what to do next I'd be most grateful. :-) Thank you from a very desperate Cheryl.

We need you to upload the logs to the forum - see Uploading Logs
Start L4, close it after the crash and immediately upload the logs.

That was fine Cheryl, but I'd also like to see Logos4.log & Logos4Indexer.log (if it exists) - if you haven't enabled logging then see Diagnostic Logging
Please don't copy the logs into your post!

Thanks, they are very helpful. Let's try the following:-
- delete the folder C:\Users\Cheryl\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\rkv4u0s3.1io\HomePage\2010-07-20
- delete the files C:\Users\Cheryl\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\rkv4u0s3.1io\UpdateManager\Updates.db and the Updates.db-journal
You might have to enable viewing of Hidden Files and folders in Control Panel | Folder Options (on the View tab).

Replacing my old WinXP which had my Logos4 running with new machine running Win7 64.
Trying to install Logos4 using: http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/Installer/Logos4Setup.exe
Process seems to run fine w/ 20+Mb download. Creates L4 shortcut on desktop. Clicking desktop icon, it asks me to login. After entering info, I try to proceed, and Windows immediately shuts program down with similar message as Cheryl's.
I tried deleting the folder and files as Dave suggested for Cheryl, but it still doesn't work.
I've attached the Log files. Any help? Thanks.

BTW, I did try starting w/ CTRL and using the blank layout, but still had the same problem.

Mark, as a general rule it is better to start a new thread in order to draw attention to your problem.

The problem is quite different to Cheryl's and it is fortunate that most times we recommend to delete something it will not cause harm when N/A!!

EDIT: Logs from 2009. See next post
The program was indexing at the time L4 crashed so I would let that complete without running searches or even opening resources.
The indexer says you have 677 resources but i think you have more? If so there will be another download after the current indexing has completed, followed by more indexing. Just let it happen & stay out of L4 during the indexing.

The zip file you enclosed is from 2009!! Your crash files reveal this is a Beta issue as the first crash is on 4.1 B1 at 3:26pm. After that you used the (wrong) web link to install 4.0d SR-1. The only way to correct this is to completely uninstall L4 then re-install 4.0d (if you want the 4.1 Beta you must use the link provided in the PC Beta Forum).
If you have downloaded the resources then save the \Resources folder before you remove L4 (path C:\Users\mhoffman\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\j5ek24yo.bah\ResourceManager\Resources).
Delete the logos4 folder after you remove L4 in Control Panel. Then you can install with Method 3 at http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers

Ok, I uninstalled the precursor stuff and the program. Then I went and manually deleted all the directories that Logos had created. (including the AppData ones. Then I started from scratch again, letting everything run without doing anything. Looks like it is going to run successfully this time.
Thanks, Dave.
