My Wish List for the app
Some Suggestions:
- In the list of recent books on the app can you adjust it so
that there is an option to show only recently used pubs on the iPhone and not from the desktop version. I work
differently on the platforms and would like to keep the recent books
(there are typically only 2 that I use regularly but sometimes I'll go
wild and do a 3rd) yet the list changes as on the desktop I'll be all
over the place. - The slider to
move around the bible is a great idea but could stand to be improved.
The granularity it too difficult to work with right now. Can you adjust
the slider so that it starts at the book level and once on the right
book allow a double tap to change to chapters and then another double
tap for verse. That would make it much more usable. - Provide an
easy way to scroll down 1 full verse - at times the verse i'm reading is
split across 2 screens and this would allow me to scroll to get it all
on the one small iphone screen - Have an easy
way to switch between the active bible and a commentary or notes book -
and keep them sync'd up at the verse - Have an option to
adjust the brightness of the iphone without
having to leave the app. at times in a church service the lights are
dimmed and the iphone auto-brightness still
leaves the iphone like a beacon in the dark - it
may be biblical (letting our light shine) but it isn't polite :-)
Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions. The list of recent books on the iPhone is not synced with the desktop. It is all the books you have accessed on the iPhone, sorted by how many times they have been accessed.

Ah - that helps somewhat - I hadn't looked that closely but did notice that there were a lot even though I've only used a few regularly. What I've seen is not a sort based on access but a push right list with the left most the most recently accessed.

Ok, there are two lists: one along the bottom of the reading view and one in the library view. The one along the bottom of the reading view is intended to be like a history and sorts by when you last accessed the book. The one in the library view is intended to be quick access to the books you most frequently use and sorts by use. Neither syncs to the desktop.

OK - it is the quick access view that I've been using. I would like an option to keep that with only books that I want much as I can setup some book icons in the desktop L4 for quick access without having to look at an icon for every book that I've referenced.
Thanks
